Dollies-6.JPGDonut Dolly chat141 viewsLooks good in her uniform, doesn't she? That's Margi Ness...a Donut Dolly who toured Nam in the 1969-70 timeframe. Thanks, Margi!

Dollies-5.JPGChatting141 viewsOne lucky redleg gets a personal interview. Margi Ness is the Donut Dolly; she saw this photo and can't even remember ever wearing yellow sunglasses. The intense next to Margi is "Mike". I just noticed that this was our gun pit. You can see the muzzle of are 105mm in the back ground. It had the yellow paint job that the guy in the photo painted on it, Mike was a real character, he was from CA., LA I think. He was a real Head if you catch my drift. Not that we were angels by any means but he was really out there and then some. One intense guy if you look at him talking to the Dolly. Oh well what can I say. We all had our quirks. (Note: see the howitzer in the rear...it's wheels were removed because they were a nuisance when traversing the weapon.

The 35th reunion starts off with an early Friday morning golf tournament at the Greendale Golf Course in Arlington. The scramble format was used to avoid reporting those embarrassing scores! Joe Henderson and Jim Connolly pose while hiding their scorecards.
