File_2-6.JPG"Humanitarian Truck" gets shot up142 viewsThis 3/4 ton truck was used for humanitarian purposes to bring medical help and supplies to a local village near one of the firebases. One day, the guys went in and Charlie was waiting for them and bushwhacked them. One of the guys was wounded but made it back on foot. We immediately got the order to go in and kick ass. We were trucked in and by the time we got there, all that was left was the truck. If you enlarge the photo, you can see bullet holes in the side frame, the hood, and the windshield. We cleared the area and got choppered out to another.
