IT MAY HAVE LOOKED GOOD ON PAPER!

(Ed Thomas adds that other officers involved received negative comments on the Officer Evaluation Reports)

(Lt Dick Arnold) Dick and I were in the same meeting (war story meeting at the reunion) where a few guys who were there told it just like Dick mentioned.  It was apparently “hot” and not only was one relieved, but several suffered OER comments that didn’t help a career.  I guess further down the chain and on paper, it looked good.  I am glad I wasn’t there.
